We have sold Amanda’s work for over a decade, and her jewellery has become one of the most collected and requested ranges we sell.

Amanda grew up amongst a community of creatives in the grounds of an old stately home in Staunton Harold in Leicestershire. My parents were potters and painters. There were also blacksmiths, violin and guitar makers, wood turners, wool spinners, soft toy makers, artisan bakers in the craft center – it was an inspiring place to live. I had always dabbled at making clay animals to sell for pocket money in the pottery and at the age of thirteen I had already started a little business making buttons and beads out of polymer clay and taking them to sell around the shops in Derby and Nottingham.

Amanda always knew she would have a career making small things and chose to study jewellery. She graduated from the Royal College of Art with a Masters in Metalwork and Jewellery, before setting up her studio in Lincoln. She now spends her days creating wearable natural worlds, full of intricate detail and moving parts, that can take your imagination off to far off places.
