Jane Hindmarch won one of our more unique prizes in our 2022 Open Exhibition. She was awarded the Welbeck Abbey Brewery Prize for her vibrant painting depicting the Summer gardens at Redhill Lodge in Rutland. The prize was chosen by Brewery Director, Claire Monk as it aligned with her use of botanicals in the brewing process. The prize – a new beer, named after the artwork, and featuring the painting on the label!
Jane is a multidisciplinary artist working in paint, print, and sculpture, based in Stamford, Lincolnshire. We currently have Jane’s Redhill Lodge prints available in our shop priced at £160. These are high quality reproductions of her paintings which capture her emotional response to a thriving flower garden, full of living colour.
We also have some of Jane’s indoor aluminium sculptures in our shop. Bright and bold, these pieces are derived from the energetic, physical movements of drawing and sketching landscapes. Each piece is a unique original artwork rendered in 3 dimensions through hand forming aluminium flat bar with a particular experience of the natural world in mind.
