Rachael Woodman
Rachael Woodman has worked with glass for over forty years. She focuses on contemplative objects that reflect the uniqueness of individuals, bound by a presence greater than themselves.
“Glass has taken me on a lifelong journey. It is such a unique and beautiful material with which to express dreams and tell stories. Sometimes deeply personal journeys into my spirituality, and at other times, extravagant celebrations of the energy within glass.”
Visitors may recognise Rachael’s work from Harvest: Fruit Gathering, one of the most popular Harley Gallery exhibitions. In our Christmas shop display, find delicate sculptural fruits that fit in the palm of a hand, and iridescent glass bowls pooled with layers of colour.
Rachael is a multi-award winner and has work in some of the world’s most famous public collections including the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, and the Corning Museum of Glass, New York, USA.
