Sophie is the most recent artist to join our talented group of creatives selling through the Harley Shop. She studied jewellery at Nottingham Trent University before moving to Manchester to set up her home studio.

“This is my biggest wholesale order to date and it’s made me reflect on how far I’ve come with my little business since I started 4 years ago. I’m so grateful that people see the value in my work and it still amazes me every time I get contacted by places I’ve visited and loved, that I would never have believed would be stocking my work if you told me when I first started.”

Working in silver, copper and enamel, Sophie makes statement jewellery and decorative objects for the home. Her distinctive style of applying enamel to her objects is inspired by the geology of the coast, from fossilised coral, volcanic rock to tumbling cliffs. Working with black and white enamel, she translates her beachside sketches into energetic and gestural designs. Each piece of jewellery or object is a unique, a miniature artwork.
