Chocolate Gilding Workshop

Meet + Make with Claire Ridley
10 February 2024

Get hands-on with gold leaf in a gilding workshop with conservator Claire Ridley.

Using gilding techniques, spend a morning or afternoon decorating luxury chocolates and their box with gold leaf. Claire will be on hand to guide you through the whole process, from gilding to designing and decorating your box.

You will be inspired by traditional conservation techniques but use chocolate as your canvas to make the perfect edible gift.

All materials and equipment will be provided, but please make us aware of any allergens or dietary requirements when booking. Vegan chocolates are available.

This workshop is part of Meet + Make, a series of public engagement events running alongside our contemporary exhibition Work Life: Life’s Work.
