Cook + Create

Holiday Club
Wednesdays and Thursdays during October half term

Swap scrolling for a day packed with cooking and creativity this October half-term.

Cook your favourite fakeaways in the professional kitchens at the School of Artisan Food, before creating Halloween costumes, building crazy golf courses or taking on creative challenges with the Harley Foundation team.

What to Expect

Your day will start in the state-of-the-art kitchens at the School of Artisan Food with a practical cookery session. Working with their friendly team of food experts, you will make fresh, seasonal and delicious versions of your favourite takeaway food which you’ll then get to enjoy for lunch.

In the afternoon, there will be a chance to take a short walk through the Welbeck Estate (including through the famous underground tunnels), before getting creative with the Harley Foundation team.

Each day’s creative workshop has been designed in collaboration with young people from Meden School. Workshops will take place amongst our purpose-built artist studios and will include a different activity each day – from making your own Halloween costume accessories, to building a crazy golf course.

What to Bring

All food and materials will be provided for participants. Please bring a water bottle and dress for the weather as part of the day will be spent outside.

We expect all participants to abide by our learner code of conduct.

Additional Information

These sessions are for young people aged 11-16.

There are free places available each day for young people who are eligible for Free School Meals. To book a free place, please select Free School Meals tickets during checkout.
