Join us to celebrate the launch of our new exhibition Serena Korda: Triple Goddess with a day of free, family-friendly activities.
Visit on opening Saturday to get creative with our day of activities – including eco-themed puppet shows, a community clay activity, and drinks and speeches with the artist.
Serena Korda reconsiders established narratives through a feminist lens, drawing from history, folklore and myth. Visit to see the gallery and museum transformed by Korda’s ceramic worlds. From fantastical headdresses, gloves, and disembodied hands, to intimate family portraits created with the artist’s young daughter.
Puppet Shows
Free, booking required, 11am, 12.30pm, and 2pm.
Join Harley Studio artist Michelle Reader and Steno Vitale as they perform Tales from the Wheelbarrow in our museum. This joyful, eco-themed show is part of Michelle’s new venture, making puppets using recycled materials for her company Wayward Objects. The show is set in and around a wheelbarrow, where Olive the park‑keeper and Teaspoon, a cheeky bird, discover surprising creatures hidden in everyday discarded objects.
Perfect for those young and old, this is a playful, planet-loving adventure for family audiences with live music and puppetry. Performances last for 25 minutes.
