Family Clay: Sculpt a Seascape

For ages 5+
16 August 2024

Bring the seaside to Nottinghamshire in this messy and creative clay session for children aged 5+ and their parent or guardian.

Has your child always wanted to try pottery? Bring them along and get hands-on in our fully equipped studio.

In this one-off session you will be shown how to form, join and add texture to clay, before having a go at creating your own seaside-inspired creations; from shells to seaweed, fish to flip-flops. Our tutor will advise you how to decorate and string together your creations at home to create a finished seascape wall hanging.

If parents and guardians want to get involved and make their own seascape wall hanging, additional clay + firing can be purchased as a £10 add-on.

Your creations will be fired onsite in our kiln and will be ready to collect in 4-6 weeks.

Please bring your own aprons.
