Letterpress Printing

Meet + Make with Steve Handley
16 February 2024

Work with Steve Handley to write and print your very own verse.

Steve Handley is renowned for his unusual and witty furniture, often inscribed with poetic rhymes. In this drop-in workshop, you will take inspiration from Steve’s work to write your own poem before using letter stamps to print it on a wooden block.

Steve will be on hand to offer inspiration and answer all of your burning questions.

All materials and equipment will be provided. This drop-in workshop is suitable for ages 5+, all under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.

This workshop is part of Meet + Make, a series of public engagement events running alongside our contemporary exhibition Work Life: Life’s Work.
