Enjoy a mindful walk through the Welbeck Estate, learning how to capture the scenery from photographer Emma Thorpe.
Emma will show you all the tips-and-tricks to taking the perfect photograph – whether you’re using a camera or smartphone. You will walk for an hour along the public footpaths of the Welbeck Estate, before heading back to the gallery to warm up and discuss your results.
This session is suitable for all ages and abilities, it’s the perfect family day out.
You will need to bring a camera or smartphone to use during the session, as well as a cable to upload your photos to a laptop.
Please wear comfortable clothes and footwear, suitable for muddy trails.

Emma Thorpe
Emma Thorpe is a musician and photographer who takes inspiration from the North Nottinghamshire Landscape. She has released two EP’s Red Dust (2010) and Merle (2018) and is currently recording an album with Vicious Charm Records. Emma works from her Harley Foundation Studio on the Welbeck Estate.
