Work Life: Life’s Work is a celebration of making, showcasing the diverse work produced in the Harley Foundation’s artist studios.
The Harley Foundation has a rich history of championing creativity. It was set up in 1978 by Ivy, Duchess of Portland, to “encourage creativity in us all”. Since then we have welcomed over 75 creative businesses to our subsidised studio spaces.
Explore the work of each of the remarkable makers currently in residence. Each studio has produced work specifically for the exhibition. From sculptures crafted from the remnants of the other artists’ studios to an intricately embroidered death shroud, a hand-crafted guitar to a gigantic porcelain vessel – there is something to inspire everyone.
