Join us for a hands-on papermaking workshop for children aged 6+ and their parent or guardian.
In this session, children will learn how to create their own handmade paper using recycled paper and card. They’ll explore how to add colour and texture to their papers using natural materials like flower petals, leaves, and seeds.
Children will learn every part of the papermaking process – from pulping paper to pressing and shaping – and will leave with their own unique handmade sheets to take home.
Please note, papers will still be damp at the end of the workshop and will need to dry fully at home.
Please bring an apron or old shirt, a hair bobble for tying back long hair, and a large carrier bag to carry your wet papers home. All other materials and equipment will be provided.
